Requirements

This tour is for those interested in a "catch, cook, and eat" participatory experience. You can catch salmon, rockfish, mackerel, and other fish. No fishing experience is required. Participants must be 150cm or taller in order to ride e-bikes. Please consult with us if you are under 150cm tall.

Equipment

Please bring boots, rain gear (jacket and pants), down or other warm jacket and pants, trekking shoes, a 10-liter backpack and cover, food, hat, gloves, insurance card, medicine, toiletries, headlamp, etc. You can bring your own fishing gear, tent and sleeping bag, or rent these items for an additional fee.

Facilities

Accommodation options include a private campground or private cottage. We will discuss with each group upon receiving a reservation. Guests are responsible for booking their own accommodations on the island.

Access info

By ferry: Ferries operate between Wakkanai and Rishiri, and between Rishiri and Rebun. Tour participants must arrive on the island the day before or the morning of the tour. Flight and ferry schedules are subject to change depending on the month of the year. We will pick you up at Rishiri Airport or Oshidomari Ferry Terminal by car.
