About

This experience is offered in the winter, autumn, and summer, each with its own themes. WINTER (February) Discover the hidden winter wilderness of Hokkaido with a photographic adventure to Central and Eastern Hokkaido. Capture the extremely rare Tancho Tsuru, Owashi eagle and other wildlife while searching for the infamous sea ice on the northern coastline of Hokkaido. AUTUMN (October ~ November) Autumn in Hokkaido is the ultimate color palette: bright reds and yellow foliage, contrasted but deep greens and blues of the waters and skies. Watch Hokkaido foxes and chipmunks get ready for the winter; and if we’re so lucky, the flying squirrels may even make an appearance! SUMMER (July) Hokkaido summers are perfect for hiking, relaxing over a barbeque or swimming in its great lakes. Get up close and personal with mountain and lake sceneries, Hokkaido flora, and enjoy all the fresh produce and ocean catches. Sneak peeks of Ezo Brown Bears and their cubs getting to know their Hokkaido homes for the first time. <Available Season> July, October, November, February
