About
The Hachimantai area is blessed with some of the best dry powder in Tohoku. The area around Daikoku Mori, which once flourished as part of the Hachimantai ski resort, is still a special place favored by powder freaks, and it’s the area we will explore. Since 2018, local guides and Hachimantai City have collaborated to offer a CAT service. On this experience, you get access to a dedicated snowcat for a full day of powder riding. This allows us to select slopes according to your skiing level and the conditions of the day. There is basically no hiking involved, so even those who are not confident in their physical fitness can participate in this experience instead of this hybrid CAT and hiking experience. Enjoy the luxury of skiing and snowboarding in Hachimantai, a mecca for powder snow.
