Winter Fly Fishing in Hokkaido Using Snowshoes
Go fly fishing for large American trout and rainbow trout during the quiet winter months when few anglers are around.
February to March
Shiribetsu River or Toshibetsu River, Hokkaido
1 to 2 persons
55,000 - 65,000 JPY
Winter fly fishing is a great way to target healthy American trout and large rainbow trout, even in cold weather. We will reach the river by walking through the snow on snowshoes. In winter, the riverbanks that are densely vegetated in summer are covered with snow, making access easier, and you can enjoy discovering the trees and animal tracks along the way.
