Bio

Isamu Hori was born in Aichi Prefecture and currently lives in Hakuba Village​,​ Nagano Prefecture. He started out as a guide on cycling tours of tourist attractions in Hakuba. Since then​,​ he has been a rafting guide​,​ lake canoe guide​,​ ski patrol member​,​ ski slope avalanche control member​,​ MTB trail builder​,​ MTB patrol​,​ and has been involved in outdoor activities such as river kayaking and backcountry skiing. He has planned many MTB tours where guests can experience the nature and history of the area​,​ and he has also coached kids in MTB classes. He also organizes many tours that even beginners can enjoy.

Q: What is your most memorable experience in nature?

No matter what time of year it is, the beauty of the Hakuba landscape created by nature is impressive and always leaves me feeling refreshed and relaxed.

An element or factor that always feels mysterious and beautiful and harmonizes people with the natural world.

Everything that is necessary is a part of nature.

I will be happy with anything my guests feel they get from my tours.
