Bio
1982年北海道生まれ。幼い頃から自然に触れ、オーストラリア、ニュージーランド、ニセコ、知床で様々なカルチャー、言語、異なる自然環境で、アウトドア事業に従事する。 その後、海外専門のトレッキングツアーガイドとして、欧州、南米、ネパールをはじめとする44カ国のフィールドへ100回以上、お客様を案内する。 娘の誕生とともに、トレイルハイクスを立ち上げ、山梨県富士河口湖町に移住。日本でのロングトレイルやアドベンチャーツーリズムの普及と確立を目指すとともに、誰でも楽しめるアウトドア体験を提供している。 Born in 1982 in Hokkaido, Japan, Akio was exposed to nature from an early age. He has worked in the outdoor business in Australia, New Zealand, Niseko, and Shiretoko, and has experience working in different natural environments, as well as with people representing various cultures, languages, and backgrounds. As a trekking tour guide specializing in overseas destinations, he led clients on over 100 hikes in 44 countries, including areas of Europe, South America, and Nepal. With the birth of his daughter, he founded Trail Hikes and moved to Fuji Kawaguchiko in Yamanashi Prefecture. He aims to popularize and establish long trail hiking and adventure tourism in Japan, as well as provide outdoor experiences that anyone can enjoy.

皆さん、こんにちは！トレイルハイクスの朗男です。 山梨県富士河口湖町は東京からバスで90分ととてもアクセスの良い場所にあります。 そして、この一帯は2013年に世界文化遺産に認定されました。また、富士箱根伊豆国立公園でもあり、風光明媚な富士山の周りは、素晴らしい自然に囲まれています。 いつもの旅から、もう一歩踏み出してみませんか？ 風の音、新鮮な空気、目の前に広がる景色を自分の五感で自然を体感してみてください。より皆さんの心が豊かになるようなツアー作りを目指しています。 Hello everyone! I am Akio from Trail Hikes. I provide tours in Yamanashi Prefecture, which is only a 90 minute bus ride from Tokyo and home to Mount Fuji. This area was recognized as a World Heritage Site in 2013, and contains the sceneic Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park. I invite you to take a step out of your usual travels and explore Yamanashi with me. In this area you can experience nature with all of your senses: the sound of the wind and the crisp fresh air, with beautiful natural scenery spread out before you. I aim to create tours that will enrich your body, heart, and mind.

僕はよく怒らないと言われるのですが、自然の関わる仕事をしていることで、色々なことに寛大になっている気がします。 人間はちっぽけだと、いつも自然に教えてもらっています。

トレイルハイクスのモットーは『アウトドアを、みんなに。』 皆さんのアウトドアへのはじめての一歩になれたらいいなと思っています。 もちろん、経験者の方も大歓迎です。一緒に自然を楽しみましょう！
Q: What is your most memorable experience in nature?
The stunning view from Milford Track in New Zealand. This is the reason I became a fan of long trail hiking, and am now working to popularize it in Japan.
Q: What does nature represent to you?
Nature is like a teacher who teaches us how to live.
Q: What nature has taught you?
I am often told that I do not get angry. I feel that my work with nature has led me to be forgiving of many things. Nature has always taught me that human beings are just one tiny part of the world.
Q: What you hope people will get out of experiences with you as a guide?
My motto is "Bring the outdoors to everyone." I hope to help lead your first step into the outdoors. Of course, experienced hikers are also welcome! Together let's enjoy the outdoors.
