Itinerary

We will propose an itinerary according to your wishes and the season, focusing on deep green mountain streams. We will fish for large Ezo Iwana trout with a large dry fly. The distance of the two-day trip is approximately 2 to 5 kilometers. We will move to different points in the morning and afternoon. While finding terrestrial and aquatic insects that trout feed on, we will give a lecture on fly selection, areas where fish gather, how to cast flies, how to approach, and other technical details. Guiding will be tailored to each guest's skill level, including seasonal fly trends and matching fishing techniques. The tour finishes in the evening.

Requirements

From those with no experience at all to experts. We cater to anyone from 20 to about 75 years old.

Equipment

Please bring familiar waders and boots, as well as any tackle (rod, reel, fly line) you may have. Rods are recommended to be 4-6, single-handled, 8.5-9 ft. Fly lines should be weight-forward floating. Tackle, waders, and wader boots can also be rented. For beginner anglers, we can also provide tenkara flies, which are easier to use.
