About

You will climb and ski down the mountain in its natural state, not on the ski slopes managed by anyone. We will start our walk at the end of the ski lift or at the trailhead where there is no lift and walk to the entry of a good slope or to the summit of the mountain. You will enjoy fresh snow, large pistes, and tree runs that you cannot experience on the ski slopes as you make your way down the mountain. ＜Pricing＞・ Up to 6 persons per group ・ 49,000 yen per group regardless of the number of participants

Itinerary

Meeting: 7:00~ 8:00 am around Hakuba Village and then move to the trailhead (or lift access) Climbing: 2~3 hours, elevation gain 300~600m. Ski at a good point, and if you are strong enough, climb back up and do another run. Departure: 2~4pm

Requirements

For experienced mountaineers, skiers, and snowboarders. Skill level and physical fitness level are not required for private groups, but those with the least physical fitness will be given priority.

Equipment

・ Skis, snowboards (with bindings for climbing or snowshoes) ・ Climbing skins ・ Boots, boots, and poles (foldable for snowboarders) ・ Goggles ・ Helmet (recommended) ・ Sunglasses ・ Gloves (plus a spare) ・ Knit hat ・ Backpack (about 30 liters) ・ Beacon ・ Probe ・ Shovel ・ Energy food ・ Thermal bottle ・ Warm clothing ・ Outerwear for skiing Other items can be rented with prior notice. Please bring your own gloves, hat, goggles, etc. as much as possible.

Facilities

You may use the ski slopes in Hakuba Valley to reach the trailhead. (Lift tickets must be purchased separately on site)

Meeting place: Happo Parking Lot No. 5, Kitajo, Hakuba Village, Kitaazumi-gun, Nagano, Japan By Train: Tokyo Station ⇨ Hokuriku Shinkansen ⇨ Nagano Station　 Nagano Station ⇨ Bus ⇨ Hakuba Station ⇨ 5 min. walk ⇨ Hakuba Village By Car　 4-5 hours via Chuo Expressway via Kan-etsu Expressway and Joshin-etsu Expressway 4 hours 20 minutes Parking is available at Happo Parking Lot No. 5.
