Bio

Daisuke​,​ a native of Niiza City​,​ Saitama Prefecture​,​ was born in 1987. He grew up as an active member of the Boy Scouts​,​ immersing himself in outdoor activities and mountain climbing. In 2008​,​ he relocated to Nozawa Onsen Village​,​ Nagano Prefecture​,​ driven by his passion for snowboarding and a desire to be surrounded by nature. Today​,​ he runs a guest house there. Since 2013​,​ Daisuke has found his calling on the slopes of Mt. Fuji​,​ serving as a dedicated climbing guide. With the mountain's registration as a World Heritage Site​,​ he founded the Mount Fuji Trail Club in 2016. Through this initiative​,​ Daisuke and his team strive to preserve the environment and ensure the safety of climbers in response to changing conditions. Daisuke's unwavering commitment to his passions and his tireless efforts to protect the environment make him an inspiring figure. He leaves a lasting impact by fostering a love for nature and promoting the conservation of Mt. Fuji's awe-inspiring beauty.

I have had the privilege of supporting numerous guests in climbing Mt. Fuji​,​ with the majority of them being inexperienced climbers. Mt. Fuji holds a special place in the hearts of Japanese people and is a mountain that everyone aspires to climb at least once. We are dedicated to providing wholehearted support locally​,​ tailoring our plans to suit each individual's needs as they strive to reach the summit.

Q: What is your most memorable experience in nature?

While I have many fond memories of enjoying activities and relaxing in nature, I find the natural phenomenon that is Mt. Fuji is especially astounding.
